Happy Wednesday loves! Today's look features my favorite camel coat, which makes for a very classy winter look. In my opinion, camel coats are a must in everyone's wardrobe because they simply go with everything! Dressed up or dressed down, you just can't go wrong with a classic camel coat. Camel coats are also a timeless piece that can be worn year after year so it is definitely worth investing in one of decent quality. I managed to find a gorgeous wool/cashmere blend coat that feels so luxurious and is at a reasonable price point.
I styled the coat with a Black Sweater, black mini skirt and my favorite black over the knee boots. I think that black and camel look so nice together during the winter season and I know that I will be wearing this look on repeat.

There is something about the holiday season that makes me want to dress a little nicer and look a little more chic, and now that the warm weather is finally gone here in Charlotte, I can finally dress in sweaters and layers without sweating! Hallelujah! Fall and Winter fashion has always been my favorite. To me there is nothing better than bundling up in a cozy sweater. That is when I am the most comfortable, and therefore the happiest! This black mock-neck sweater is super comfortable and perfect for tucking into a skirt or a pair of skinny jeans. I decided to style it with this darling tweed skirt to turn a casual look into something a little more dressy. 

I love a tweed skirt, and I have been looking for a cute one for a while at a good price point that isn't lacking in quality and this one has passed the test! I think mini skirts and sweater dresses look so cute with a pair of over-the-knee boots and this black pair is my all time favorite! I have struggled to find a pair of over-the-knee boots that are somewhat affordable (anyone else lusting after those Stuart Weitzman boots?) but that also stay up on my legs! Have any of you struggled with your over-the-knee boots sliding down your legs? These boots are tight enough to stay up on your thighs without sliding down and they are under $100 dollars! I honestly thought I would have to buy a pair of Stuart Weitzman ones until I found these.

December is without a doubt my favorite month out of the year. The weather is crisp, the fireplace is on and Christmas decor adorns every room. With so many cozy days ahead, I wanted to round up all of the cutest Christmas PJs I have found thus far this year. Christmas pajamas have always been special to me because my mom has "surprised" me with a new pair every December since I was a little girl. Needless to say I have way too many Christmas pajamas, and I will shamelessly admit that I sometimes even wear them year round! The Perfect Cable Knit Sweater For Winter

I am all about cozy sweaters, so when I found this cable knit sweater I knew I needed it in my wardrobe for the upcoming winter season! The turtleneck design is perfect for keeping you warm during those chilly wintry days and the cable knit details and balloon sleeves add a nice touch to an otherwise plain sweater. This may be the coziest sweater I own, and may also be the cutest sweater I own too. I am not exaggerating when I say that I received 15 compliments on it from strangers while walking around the mall last week! 

I styled the sweater with a pair of skinny jeans and grey leather booties, but it would also look cute styled with a mini skirt and over the knee boots. Some of you have asked me about the lipstick I'm wearing (you can find it here), and I must say that it is my favorite lip shade for the holiday season. When first applied it is quite dark, but I used a tissue to pat away the excess in order to achieve the perfect deep red shade and to prevent the dreaded lipstick teeth!

A Casual Thanksgiving Day Outfit

Happy Thursday lovelies! Today I wanted to share with you all another Thanksgiving outfit idea, but one that is a little less formal than the outfit I shared with you yesterday. This one is for the ladies that want to look cute on thanksgiving, but also feel comfortable and hide the inevitable food baby in the works. More pie and turkey this way, please!

In order to hide the tummy and stay away from the sweatpants, I wore this oversized cinnamon brown sweater dress from Red Dress Boutique, which is the perfect color for fall and Thanksgiving! I will definitely be wearing this throughout the entire fall season because it is so cozy and adorable, and can be worn casually or dressed up with a fur coat and a pair of heels. To keep the outfit casual for Thanksgiving Day, I styled the sweater dress with a gorgeous pair of grey over the knee boots. Over the knee boots can be pricey, but these are a steal with a price point under $50! To finish off the look I wore this brown plaid scarf, which may be my favorite part of the outfit. I think scarves can make a relatively plain outfit a lot more interesting and fun. I'll be linking a few more of my favorite scarves below that will also look cute with this outfit.

The Perfect Fall Floral Dress

Hello, November!

Can you all believe that October has already come and gone, and that November is already here? I certainly can't, but I am not complaining because that also means that turkey and pumpkin pie is on its way! 

Speaking of all things autumnal, I have partnered with Red Dress Boutique to create a couple of fall looks, and I found the perfect floral dress for the fall season! I am not kidding when I say that this dress is gorgeous! The burgundy, orange and purple colors are perfectly autumnal, and the design of this dress is simply stunning! I love a dress with a hi-low hemline and this one in particular drapes beautifully around the legs. I also adore any dress or top with a one-shoulder design, and this one is even more beautiful with a big bow tied up along the shoulder. I personally think there is something so elegant, yet sexy, about a one-shouldered dress. Even though there isn't much skin revealed, there is something unmistakably eye catching about it! If the weather is a bit too chilly where you are at, this dress would also look cute paired with a leather or suede jacket and a pair of ankle booties.

I paired this dress with these wine lace up heels to dress up the outfit even more. These heels are perfect not only for fall, but also for the upcoming holiday season. This entire look would also be lovely for an autumnal party, date night or a formal Thanksgiving dinner! I certainly plan on wearing it for a date night this weekend with my boyfriend. We both love to dress up and always find reasons to get dolled up for an evening. Are there any other couples like this? We're not the only ones, right? Haha!
