It's that time of year again - the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is finally here! For those of you who are not familiar, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale only comes around once a year, but it is definitely not your average sale. Most sales involve stores trying to get rid of items from the previous season in order to bring in new items for the upcoming season, but the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is giving you the opportunity to buy next season's newest fashion, beauty and home items at a discounted price! However, once the sale is over, all of these items go back up to their normal price, so you definitely want to buy all of your favorite fall goodies (sweaters and boots, anyone?) while the sale is going on.  For those of you who want to receive first picks of all of the latest items before they sell out, you can receive early access by becoming a Nordstrom cardholder by clicking 'here' and begin shopping today! For those of you who do not want to apply, do not fret! You can begin shopping the sale on July 29th, but beware - items sell out fast (I missed out on some of my favorites last year), and the sale ends August 4th!

I did all of my shopping online this year, but stopped by the store to see what was still available, and several items were already sold out in stores! Be sure to check back here and on my Instagram Page (@looklovelyliving) as I style all of the items I purchased. Most of these items come in multiple colors, so be sure to click around to find your favorites! You can also check out some of my favorite picks from last year's Nordstrom Anniversary Sale here. Without further ado, let's get shopping! :)

Hello, Lovelies!

With wedding season upon us, I wanted to share with you all some of the details from my bachelorette party in Charleston! Charleston is one of my favorite places, and only a three and a half hour car ride away from Charlotte, so when my matron of honor asked me where I would like to celebrate my transition from Miss to Mrs., I knew it would be Charleston. I wanted a fun, long weekend with my besties, which is exactly what I got! My matron of honor booked us a HomeAway in downtown Charleston right around the corner from King Street (where all of the restaurants, bars and shops are), which was the perfect size for five girls. If you have a larger bachelorette group, I would recommend finding a different place unless you want to pull out the air mattresses!

Thursday morning, I met up with two of my girls, Emmy and Lauren, to head to Charleston! Two bathroom and Chick-Fil-A stops later we finally made it to our HomeAway and met up with the other girls, Fressya and Kristi, who flew in from Texas! We were all pretty tired from traveling that day, so we just walked down the street to the closest restaurant to grab a bite to eat, and hung out and had some girl time at the house after.

The next morning, Lauren and I headed to a coffee shop to grab some coffee, and when we got back my matron of honor, Emmy, set up the table with all of the cute bridal goodies for me to wear all weekend!

We then got ready and headed to 82 Queen for brunch. If you are looking for a beautiful outdoor garden for brunch, this is it! It was such a beautiful and whimsical setting, with flowers, palm trees, gazebos, and butterfly chairs! There is something for everyone on this menu, from sandwiches to classic southern, Charleston style dishes.

Don't forget to get a pink cocktail! ;)

We then proceeded to walk down King Street, which has all of the best shops, bars and restaurants. After browsing some of the shops, the girls decided it was time to step it up a notch for the bachelorette weekend and head for the bars! There are so many bars in Charleston, but the ones I would recommend are Stars (for the rooftop view) and The Rarebit for the best and most fresh Moscow Mules you will ever taste!

After stopping at one of the bars, we went home and got ready to go to Félix for tapas and cocktails. After dinner, we got a table at Deco Nightclub for a night of dancing and fun. Initially, this was not supposed to be our "night out", so I wasn't even wearing my white dress, but I suppose you sometimes have to go with the flow and see where the night takes you - haha!

Saturday morning we were pretty exhausted from the previous night out, so we hung out at the house and had some delicious biscuits from Callie's Hot Little Biscuit. I got a pimento cheese and a cinnamon butter biscuit, and let me tell you - they were delicous!

Saturday evening we got dolled up (I finally got to wear my little white dress - hehe!) for dinner at Élevé at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Charleston. I would definitely recommend eating dinner here! The spice rubbed salmon may have been my favorite meal the entire trip, and the decor and live music were the cherry on top! They also have a nice rooftop bar where the pictures below were taken.

Sunday morning we got brunch at Butcher and Bee, which is a popular brunch spot in Charleston, and for good reason - it was so tasty!

After brunch at Butcher and Bee, we walked along the popular Charleston City Market, which is a must-see in Charleston, and the perfect place to pick up a souvenir. I purchased Charleston ornaments for each girl, thanking them for making my bachelorette party so memorable and special.

We ended our trip with a carriage tour from Classic Carriage Works. For those of you who have never been to Charleston, this is the perfect way to see the city and learn about some of its history, which there is a lot of in Charleston! I would recommend doing this on your first day rather than your last if you have never been to Charleston, but it was definitely a fun way for us to end our trip.

More Bachelorette Party Activities in Charleston:

- Go to the beach- Downtown Charleston is only a 20 minute drive from Folly Beach, so if you are looking to kick back and relax with your girls with your toes in the sand, be sure to take a trip to the beach.

-Visit a Plantation- There are several beautiful and historic Plantations in Charleston, such as Boone Hall Plantation and Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. If you are looking for historic stories and beautiful scenery, this one is for you!

-Get dolled up- visit the drybar to get blowouts and look fabulous for your big night out!

- Do something crafty - Try a candle making class at Candlefish, or have a flower crown party at Fetes de Fleurs to create cute flower crowns to wear around town and on your night out!

Hello lovelies!

Easter is less than two weeks away (can you believe it!?), so for those of you who are still looking, I have rounded up some of my favorite dresses for Easter that are under $100. I am loving all of the floral prints, pastels, chiffons, and lace this Easter, and all of these dresses should be appropriate for church or brunch with the fam. The dress I am wearing below is my current favorite, and I do not think I have ever received so many compliments on an outfit by simply going out to dinner as I did when I wore this! A lot of these items are also under $50 if that is more in your budget, so be sure to click around until you find one you like!

Happy Wednesday & Happy National Espadrille Day!

Espadrilles are a must for me during the spring and summer seasons, so I figured National Espadrille Day was the perfect day for me to share all of my favorite spring/summer shoes that I already own, as well as others that I am eyeing and thinking about purchasing for the upcoming seasons. I personally think espadrilles and classic heeled sandals are worth investing in since they are proven timeless season after season. Other sandals that are more trendy, such as the leopard ones shown below, may not stand the test of time, so I try to find options at a more affordable price. Most of my sandals are on the cheaper end of the spectrum, because I personally love to buy new sandals every year to update my closet a bit, but if proven timeless I will find a similar style to a pair I am loving in a higher quality that will last me year after year. Without further ado, here are some of my favorites! I hope you love them!

Hello friends & Happy Monday!

I wanted to share a few of my favorite outfits for Valentine's Day this year that you can actually purchase last minute and receive by Valentine's Day! I sometimes procrastinate buying a new outfit for holidays or special events, so when I do I always visit ASOS's website to see what they have in stock. ASOS provides free two day shipping (and free returns) if you spend $150, which is easy to do, so I will order a few things and simply return the items I don't like.

Naturally, I think of red and pink dresses for Valentine's Day, but I also included an alternative option if you are not a fan of wearing those colors or wearing dresses. So without further ado, here are some of my favorite Valentine's Day looks!

This last outfit unfortunately doesn't qualify for free two day shipping, but I wanted to include it as a casual option for those keeping it low key this Valentine's Day. I also love that this simple look can be worn throughout the entire winter season, and doesn't need to be limited to Valentine's Day.
